I wanted to have a venue to showcase what I'm currently working on so I have started a new blog. This will be where I hope to post a daily photo of whats sitting on my easel. I've been having so much fun painting the cliffs and shoreline of Southern California that I thought I'd add yet another inviting painting to the mix. Especially since I'm sitting in my kitchen looking out at the snow falling in the backyard here in Connecticut. This painting makes me want to go down and get my feet wet in the clear water and maybe catch a crab.

This is the view of the tide pools at Point Loma San Diego at high tide. I wanted to get some interesting scenes of the tide pools when I was there but neglected to check the tides and arrived right at high tide. But then I noticed the interesting cliff formations and this pianting is the result.
